Pros & cons

Pros

  • All-in-one job management (quotes → jobs → timesheets → invoices) with clean mobile and web parity
  • Strong accounting integrations (Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB) with 2‑way sync to remove double-entry
  • Polished native mobile apps (iOS & Android) and mobile-first workflows: mobile quoting, photos, signatures, onsite invoicing
  • Automated customer & staff communications (email + SMS reminders) that reduce no-shows and speed up payment follow-up
  • Basic materials/stock and purchase order features with price lists and job costing / profit visibility
  • Fast onboarding & responsive support (phone/email, one‑on‑one training available)
  • Flexible invoicing capabilities: progress invoicing, billing runs (bulk invoice), deposits/partial invoices, and Stripe online payments
  • Extensive documentation, release notes and training resources (help centre, videos, live sessions)

Cons

  • No reliable offline support (official help article states Tradify depends on a live internet connection)
  • Per‑user pricing can become expensive for larger teams (users report per-user cost scaling as a pain point)
  • Limited/absent advanced AI features (several comparisons call out 'no AI capabilities')
  • Occasional billing / trial-charge complaints from users (reports of unexpected charges and at least one dispute)
  • Some integrations workflow friction reported (e.g., Xero sync can be fiddly/double up if not configured correctly)
