Ensure you have an Instagram business account connected to a Facebook Page and access to Meta Business Suite; prepare the post media and caption.

Log in to Meta Business Suite and confirm that your Instagram account is connected and ready to post.

In Meta Business Suite, create a new Instagram post, upload your media, and enter a caption.

Use the built-in editor to ensure the media uses a supported aspect ratio (1:1, 4:5, or 16:9) and that important content isn’t cropped.

Choose Schedule, select date/time, set the timezone, and confirm.

Verify that the post shows as scheduled in the calendar or scheduled posts list.

Check the Instagram post in the scheduled list to ensure the time and content are correct.

If you prefer other tools (e.g., Later, Buffer, Hootsuite), connect your account and follow their scheduling flow.

Sign in to your Lumen5 account. In the left navigation, click Outline an Idea to begin creating a YouTube-focused outline. This starts the evaluation with your core message structured as bullets.

Enter main points as bullet items. Structure your outline to mirror YouTube segments: hook, key points, and a clear CTA. Use concise bullets to seed the video narrative.

Click Script Composer to generate a video script based on your bullet points. Review the draft for flow, pacing, and YouTube-friendly language.

For YouTube drafts, set the initial script duration to 1 minute. If needed, temporarily extend to 2 minutes 30 seconds to test longer form content, then revert to 1 minute for the final video script.

In the script editor, choose a voice that matches the video's target audience and tone. Preview how narration sounds with the current script blocks.

Let the AI create a video using your script blocks. Review the automatically suggested media and scene designs that accompany each block.

Replace any media recommendations or scene designs you dislike. Add or swap visuals to better fit your brand and YouTube format.

Include branding elements (logo, colors, fonts) and captions. Ensure accessibility by adding on-screen text where needed.

Play the generated video. Note pacing, transitions, and alignment with your outline. Make incremental edits as necessary.

Use the export/publish option to output a YouTube-ready video. If available, publish directly to YouTube or export a screen-ready file for manual upload.

Assess alignment with YouTube goals (watch time, retention, branding). Save a template or outline for future videos and repeat the process with new topics.
