How to in Attio

  1. Open Attio Workflows: Navigate to Attio > Workflows in the left sidebar. Click New Workflow to start a blank inbound lead capture flow.
  2. Create Inbound Lead Capture Workflow: Name the workflow and choose the Trigger Lead Form Submission or Lead Created. Set the object to Lead.
  3. Add Lead Form Trigger: From the Trigger block, choose Lead Form Submission. Select fields that your website form collects such as Name, Email, Company, Website, Campaign.
  4. Configure Routing Switch: Add a Switch block. Define conditions: Company Employees >= 1000 goes to Enterprise path; Funding >= 10,000,000 goes to VC-backed path; else Self-Service.
  5. Auto-Assign Lead Owner: In Enterprise path, add a Round Robin action to assign the lead to a sales rep from your list. Include a fallback to the owner if the round robin fails.
  6. Create Deal on Lead: In the Enterprise path, add a Create Record action to generate a Deal. Name it with the Lead name and Website; link to the Lead\'s Company; set Stage to Qualification.
  7. Enrich and Populate from Lead: Use enrichment fields from the Lead such as Company Size, Industry, Website to fill Company and Deal fields.
  8. Slack Notification for Triage: Add a Slack action to post a message in a channel detailing the new lead and routing suggestion. Include buttons to adjust routing if needed.
  9. Start Email Sequence: For Self-Service path, trigger your email sequence to nurture the new lead.
  10. Link to CRM Hygiene: Ensure Lead and Company records are linked and required fields are validated before moving to next stage.
  11. Handoff to SDR/AE: Add a task assignment or calendar invite to Schedule Intro Call once the Deal is created and Owner assigned.
