How to use a browser-based editor to upload and edit videos

Open HeyGen Lip Sync Studio in a browser and sign in
Navigate to HeyGen Lip Sync Studio in your browser, sign in or create a free account to access the editor. Confirm the dashboard loads with an option to upload audio or paste a script.

Prepare your media
Decide whether you will upload an audio file (MP3/WAV) or paste/type your script. If you choose text, HeyGen's text-to-speech (TTS) will generate the audio for syncing.

Upload audio or enter your script into the editor
Use the input controls to attach your audio file or paste your script. The editor should display an audio waveform or timeline and a generated voice track.

Choose an AI avatar or upload your own video
Select one of the AI avatars or upload your own video to drive facial animation. The system analyzes the chosen input to align lip movements.

Generate video and preview lip-sync
Click Generate to let the AI synchronize lip movements with the audio. Use the built-in preview to verify timing and expression across scenes.

Fine-tune lip-sync timing and expressions
If necessary, adjust lip motion timing, mouth shapes, and facial expressions. Re-run the preview to confirm improvements.

Export the final video
Choose export settings (resolution and format) and download the completed video. Play back locally to verify quality.

If needed, use translation or multilingual lip-sync features to create versions in additional languages. Preview each version.
