Roofr
One platform. All the tools for your roofing business.
CRM & Sales, Job Estimation & Quoting, Invoicing & Billing
Roofr centralizes roofing business operations—leads, roof measurements, proposals, material ordering, invoicing and payments—into one platform to save time and streamline workflows. It helps roofers qualify leads faster, deliver professional proposals, and move from estimate to payment without switching apps.
Verdict
If you need fast satellite measurements tied directly to a polished proposal builder, built-in e-signatures, integrated payments, and a CRM with automations at a price accessible to small residential roofers, choose Roofr. However, if you prioritize a native mobile app with offline field capabilities, unlimited free measurements, deep enterprise production/dispatch features, or accounting-first integrations for complex multi-entity bookkeeping, look elsewhere.
Pricing
Roofr offers a Free Starter / Pay-As-You-Go tier; paid plans listed include Pro ($99 / month), Premium ($169 / month), Essentials ($209 / month), and Scale ($299 / month); Elite requires contacting sales.
| Plan | Price |
|---|---|
| Pay-As-You-Go | Free |
| Starter | Free |
| Pro | $99 / month |
| Premium | $169 / month |
| Essentials | $209 / month |
| Scale | $299 / month |
| Elite | Contact for pricing |
Limitations
Roofr is intentionally roofing-focused and excels at satellite measurements, proposals, and CRM automations for small-to-mid residential teams. Limitations include: no native mobile apps (browser-only, limited offline), measurement accuracy/coverage gaps in some geographies or complex roofs, per-report pricing that can become expensive at scale, added costs for SMS/photo features (paid add-ons), and shallower accounting/enterprise production integrations compared with accounting-first or enterprise platforms.
How to do tasks with Roofr
How to configure sales workflow automations for alerts and reminders
Paid required
- Create multiple workflows
In the Roofr CRM, open the workflows area and create multiple workflows for each work type (retail, insurance, commercial) as referenced in 'we can create multiple workflows'.
- Turn these all on
Within each workflow you created, enable the workflow by toggling the workflow option so 'they have different flows' and the automation becomes active (referenced as 'if I turn these all on').
- Assign sales rep
On the job card or lead, go to the rep selector, 'go up here, find that rep, place it in' to assign the sales rep that will trigger rep-specific tasks and messages.
- Click Sales Appointment
On the job card, 'click on sales appointment' to create the appointment event used by the workflow to trigger reminders and tasks.
- Book calendar event
After clicking Sales Appointment, 'book in the calendar event and say that I have that in for this day' by selecting the date and time for the appointment in the calendar event form.
- Drag it across
Move the job card through stages by dragging it across the board ('we can drag it across. We can drop down and pull it across') so the workflow fires stage-based automations and internal checklists.
- Set automations (hit set)
In the workflow/automation backend, choose the automation you want for that stage (reminder, follow-up, review request) and 'hit set' to save that automation for the workflow.
- Set up automatic reminders
In the Payments / Invoices or workflow messaging area, enable 'Set up automatic reminders that follow up on unpaid invoices for you' so payment reminders are sent automatically as part of the workflow.
Pros & cons
Pros
- Forever free Starter / Pay-As-You-Go plan available
- Integrated measurement → proposal → e-signature workflow (fast turnaround reports, proposal builder)
- Low per-report pricing on subscriptions ($13/report on paid plans) and no per-seat fees
- Built-in CRM with automations, Instant Estimator (website lead capture), and inbox (Gmail sync) to manage leads-to-payment
- Payments, invoicing and material ordering integrated (Roofr Payments; ABC Supply integration)
- Strong, fast customer support and onboarding (chat/email/phone; implementation team and Roofr Academy)
- 3rd-party integrations: QuickBooks sync, Zapier, CompanyCam (photo integration), supplier integrations
Cons
- No native iOS or Android mobile app — browser-only experience (PWA planned but not yet released)
- Satellite imagery coverage / measurement accuracy gaps (reports of 10–15% variance; coverage gaps on roughly half of roofs in some areas)
- Per-report costs can add up for high-volume quoting (pay-per-report model outside bundles)
- Some advanced accounting/production workflows limited — QuickBooks sync exists but integration depth is limited for complex multi-entity setups
- Key features (SMS texting, photo documentation) are paid add-ons leading to 'add-on fatigue' and higher total cost of ownership
- Mobile/browser experience is clunky for field use and lacks offline capabilities
- Occasional transactional glitches reported (e.g., credit card orders failing to be processed)
- Feature gaps for enterprise/operations: employee GPS/time tracking, advanced dispatch/route optimization, and some enterprise reporting remain weaker than competitors
